General podiatry

  • Diabetic foot risk assessment and management (in order to prevent complications), including nerve (neuro) and blood supply (vascular) assessments.
  • We may be able to provide relief for musculo skeletal issues in relation to rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and other systemic conditions that affecting the foot.

Sports: Specialised orthotics

The team at Pinnacle Podiatry perform a thorough gait and biomechanical assessment, assessing your muscle's range of motion, strength and if they functionally meet the demands placed on them. If deemed necessary, our team can custom make orthotics for all age groups andfitness levels, tailoring them for school, business, sports or general footwear. We also can supply a wide range of non-custom or semi-custom orthotics.

Orthotics can adjust the loads placed on your feet, shifting and dispersing forces applied to them. By guiding the foot to become an efficient and effective lever for propulsion, we can reduce the demands on muscles and injured structures, speeding up recovery and preventing further injury.

Orthotics can by successfully used to treat/manage:

  • Bunyions
  • Heel pain
  • Foot and ankle pain
  • Shin pain
  • Hip, knee and back pain

A bit about me

Nelson Dale

Nelson graduated from a bachelor of health science and masters of podiatric medicine degree from the University of Western Sydney in 2013, after which he has strived to continue his professional development in all areas.

Nelson was propelled into the profession as a keen sportsman in search of treatment for his own chronic foot and ankle issues, which had gone misdiagnosed through his younger years. He overcame multiple foot, knee and ankle surgeries and has managed to return to playing rugby for the local Southern Districts Rugby Club.

These personal experiences have provided him with a passion for sports injuries and biomechanics, a field in which he has developed a thorough understanding and clinical skills. He takes pride in all aspects of podiatry and makes it a priority to keep up-to-date with treatment methods and new research.

Pinnacle Podiatry have been proud supporters and the podiatrists for Save Our Sons and their Walk To Save A Cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy for the last two years.
